Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Mobilny system zdalnego nadzoru kardiologicznego: aspekty implementacyjno-techniczne(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2006) Mikrut, Zbigniew; Augustyniak, PiotrThe paper presents a concept and realization of a cardiologic monitoring system, which analyzes in real time the ECG signal from Holter recorder and transmits the results of the analysis to the supervising center. Strips of the original ECG signal are transmitted only in cases when irregular heart action (heart malfunction) is detected. The connection layer used in the prototype is the GSM cellular network, namely the GPRS transmission, sending SMS text messages and - only in emergency cases - direct modem connection CSD. In the paper the implementation and testing results are described for both the client application (software on the patient's end) and the server software (the application responsible for setting-up the connections and transferring the acquired data to the MySQL database and Apache server).Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Efektywność wybranych metod etykietowania obiektów(Wydawnictwo AGH, 2006) Bubliński, Zbigniew; Mikrut, ZbigniewThis paper describes the comparison of two object labelling methods: linear component labelling and labelling based on recurrency (»floodfill algorithm«). Real-life and artificially generated sequences of frames stored as AVI files were used as source of test input images. Labelling algorithms were implemented as a video filter (with method select switch) running in VirtualDub environment. The problem of compression of digital images has an important meaning in case of work on images consisting a cartometric material. It happens in digital photogrammetry, where geometric accuracy is the ground of the measurements. The measures of the quality losses proposed in this paper allow to estimate an influence of various compressions on cartometry. This are: mean error of point position on digital image after compression, in comparison with uncompressed image, and the second measure - correlation coefficient of images. Real and artificially generated sequences of frames were used as source of input images, and labelling was conducted in Virtual-Dub environment as processing of movie with VirtualDub filters. One filter is a pure software implementation of labelling algorithm, and the other is hardware implementation based on FPGA circuit. Sygnatury były generowane na fragmentach dwóch zdjęć lotniczych. Porównywano sygnatury generowane przez podobszary o różnych wielkościach. Na podstawie dwóch rodzajów kryteriów stwierdzono, że stopień różnicowania jest większy dla sygnatur krótszych i podobrazów mniejszych.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Generowanie danych z obrazów bronchoskopowych w celu późniejszej klasyfikacji(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2009) Mikrut, Zbigniew; Duplaga, MariuszThe goal of the experiments was to compare HS pixel representation with HSV (Hue Saturation Value) during detection of bleedings in bronchoscopy images. The interactive algorithm was developed to refine the bleeding regions pointed out by the doctor. Six different images were chosen and the bleeding areas were extracted based on the developed algorithm. The mutual percentage coverages of the bleeding regions were computed and compared for the two pixel representations.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Wykrywanie krwi na obrazach bronchoskopowych za pomocą sieci neuronowych(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2009) Mikrut, Zbigniew; Duplaga, MariuszIn the paper the experiments with using SOM-supervised neural networks for pixel (HSV) classification were presented. Six visually different images were chosen to be the basis for the SOM training. For these images learning sets were created based on the refined masks of the bleeding regions pointed out by the doctor. Next the six learning sets were merged and the ambiguous pixel representations were removed. Two types of SOM-supervised networks (of »normal« and »small« sizes) were created and learned. The classification results were obtained and analyzed both for learning sets and for 14 test images. Several conclusions were stated concerning the learning methodology and the bleeding areas postprocessing.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Automatyczne wyznaczanie stref kolizji pojazdów(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2005) Bubliński, Zbigniew; Mikrut, Zbigniew; Pawlik, PiotrThis paper describes the method of automatic detection of vehicles' collision zones based on analysis of video sequences registered by digital camera at signalised traffic intersection. Moving vehicles, visible on particular frames, are detected and their trajectories are stored. Tracks of vehicles which are moving in the same direction create some kind of »corridors« and overlaps of those »corridors« (common areas) are quite precise localisation of collision zones. The detailed description of algorithm and results obtained during analysis of selected video sequences is presented.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Ekstrakcja cech z sekwencji cyfrowych obrazów tarcia ślizgowego(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2005) Mikrut, Zbigniew; Rudnicki, ZbigniewIn the paper some methods of image analysis of the sliding friction traces are presented. These images, made on steel disk by friction of PTFE composites, are of oriented structure. The so called »transfer film« consists of dark, thin smudges and the irregular spot-like objects. Taking into account the oriented image structure several features have been proposed based on analysis of the image projections (Radon transform). The top-hat transform was utilized to enhance local maxima - both in projection functions and in images. One-dimensional projection functions and an image as a whole have been binarized by using statistics-based thresholds.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Ocena jakości nasion rzepaku z wykorzystaniem sztucznego nosa i sieci neuronowych(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2005) Kubiak, Aleksander; Mikrut, ZbigniewThis paper presents a system permitting the assessment of rapeseed quality with an electronic nose equipped with a 32 conductive polymer sensor matrix. Signals generated by the sensors were the input data into the backpropagation neural network. The changes in the seed odour, produced by a change in the moisture content over the permitted limit of 6%, were detected within 24 hours.
