Dwuwymiarowe modelowania grawimetryczne w polskich Karpatach Zachodnich
(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2008) Bojdys, Grzegorz; Grabowska, Teresa; Medoń, Zdzisława
New interpretation methodology has been applied based on determination of the equivalent structure, the gravity impact of which simulates the regional component of the anomaly field observed. Use of the equivalent structure has facilitated quantitative interpretation of gravity anomalies with the 2D modelling method. Density models of the sedimentary crust complex and the Precambrian substratum have been presented along two profiles intersecting the Polish Outer Carpathians. Geological data have been used for model construction (drillings, geological maps, sections) and results of deep seismic surveys and magnetotelluric surveys. Calculation of gravity effects has allowed to determine the contribution of sedimentary cover, substratum and crystalline complex of the crust in formation of the anomaly field. Gravity effects corresponding to the models have been presented with observed gravity force anomalies. Results of 2D gravity modelling have confirmed relationship of the gravity Carpathian low and the deep structure of the crust and indicated subordinate role of sediments in creating of the gravity anomaly field in the Polish Western Carpathians.
Jedno- i dwuwymiarowe modelowania numeryczne procesów generowania, ekspulsji i migracji węglowodorów w utworach karbonu południowo-wschodniej części rowu lubelskiego
(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2008) Wróbel, Magdalena; Kotarba, Maciej J.; Kosakowski, Paweł
In the paper authors carried out the petroleum analysis of Carboniferous strata in the south-eastern part of Lublin Trough by means of BasinMod 1- & 2-D numerical modelling. Results of geochemical analyses allowed to determine source rocks in three complexes of Carboniferous strata. Carboniferous source rocks have good petroleum potential and contain type III kerogen. In one dimensional numerical modelling, measured thermal maturity values had been calibrated of erosion quantity, it provided to identification of hydrocarbon phases in Komarów IG-1, Grabowiec IG-4 and Terebin IG-5 wells. Two dimensional modelling along Komarów - Terebin cross-section gave a spatial view on transformation ratio of kerogen and total amount of generated oil and gas. It is pointed, that hydrocarbons could be retained only in Komarów and Grabowiec area. Petroleum analyses reveal also, that intensive Paleozoic erosion ruined previously formed traps and lack of regional Mesozoic overburden caused the dispersion of residual hydrocarbons.
Korelacja pomiarów magnetycznego rezonansu jądrowego z badaniami porozymetrii rtęciowej utworów czerwonego spągowca
(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2008) Klaja, Jolanta; Kowalska, Sylwia; Przelaskowska, Anna
Nuclear Magnetic Resonance and Mercury Porosimetry methods were correlated in order to determine the pore size distribution and the irreducible water content. The investigations were conducted for Rotliegendes sandstones and conglomerates from the Poznań Trough. The transverse relaxation time ($T_2$) distribution curves were calibrated with the use of the Marshall method (in which effective relaxivity is used as the scaling factor - scaling pore radius to $T_2$) in order to determine the pore size distribution. The effective relaxivity value was established for 35 samples, the variability (4.4-49.9 mim/s) of this parameter is connected with the diversity of the pore space structure of the investigated rocks. The cutoff time ($T_{2G}$) value was determined by applying the quantitative results of the porosimetry measurements to the transverse relaxation time ($T_2$) distributions. Good correlation between permeability and dynamic porosity obtained with the use of the experimental $T_{2G}$ values shows that the calculated $T_{2G}$ values are correct.
Wybrane aspekty przetwarzania danych magnetotellurycznych z obszaru Karpat
(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2008) Stefaniuk, Michał; Wojdyła, Marek; Danek, Tomasz
The paper presents a review of fundamental problems of processing of magnetotelluric data acquired from regions with high electromagnetic noise. The noise sources are discussed and recently applied methods of noise elimination are reviewed. Identification of noise generated by electric railways and its effects on magnetotelluric sounding data interpretation are main problems of MT data interpretation in the Carpathians. The principles of the remote reference method are given. Results of test measurement, which were made to find an optimum distance between a field site and a reference site were analyzed. Effects of application of the Savitzky-Golay numerical filters and the Singular Spectrum Analysis (SSA) on the shape of time series of electric and magnetic components and results of their processing are discussed.
Analiza wpływu parametrów modelu sejsmogeologicznego i parametrów sygnału na zmiany częstotliwości centroidalnych jego widma w pomiarach międzyotworowych - studium modelowe
(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2008) Kasina, Zbigniew
In the presented paper the results of the analysis of the influence of seismogeological model and source signal parameters on the variations of centroidal frequencies of its spectrum in the seismic well to well measurements have been described. In the analysis the homogeneous models with the zones of higher and lower values of velocity and attenuation as well as gradient models and different source signal parameters (dominant signal frequency, signal type) were taken into consideration In the analysis of centroidal frequencies of the signals in the receiver points the model data (traveltimes and centroidal frequencies of signal spectrum) were used These data were generated by means of elaborated by author computer programs appriopriated for a solution of the direct problems of taveltime and amplitude tomography.
