Abstract
Trace fossil Ophiomorpha rudis occurs in building coarse-grained sandstones of the Lower Istebna Beds in architecture elements of Kraków. This trace fossil is produced by shrimps, which constructed their burrows deeply in the sediment. Their burrows are mostly vertical, up to 2 m deep and 5 $\div$ 20 mm in diameter, having horizontal branches and walls enriched in clay minerals.
