Numeryczny model terenu dla wielorozdzielczej/wieloreprezentacyjnej bazy danych przestrzennych

Abstract

W artykule omówiono system tworzenia, przechowywania oraz pozyskiwania numerycznego modelu terenu (NMT) dla baz danych topograficznych. Zwrócono uwagę na problem jednorodności danych w zakresie NMT. Brak jednorodności danych wymusza stosowanie narzędzi generalizacji w funkcjonowaniu NMT w wielorozdzielczej/ wieloreprezentacyjnej bazie danych. Autor wskazuje na możliwość zastosowania zmodyfikowanej metody Chrobaka do przeprowadzenia upraszczania numerycznego modelu terenu po uwzględnieniu wydzieleniu jednorodnych obiektów modelu.odel.

In the article was discussed a current system of creating, storing and acquiring Digital Terrain Model (DTM) for topographical databases. Author paid attention to the problem of homogeneities given in DTM. The lack of the homogeneity of data is forcing into applying the tools of generalization in DTM functioning in Multiresolution/Multirepresentation Database.
