Ocena efektów rekultywacji Kopalni „Staszic” w Rudkach koło Kielc

Abstract

W artykule przedstawiono charakterystykę złoża pirytu i rud żelaza w Rudkach koło Kielc, warunki jego eksploatacji w latach 1933-1974 oraz wywołane przez wydobycie zanieczyszczenie terenu, szczególnie w rejonie osadników poflotacyjnych i składowiska 'Serwis'. Omówiono sposób przeprowadzenia rekultywacji tego terenu w latach 1970-1973. Pobrane w 2005 r. próbki gruntu ze składowiska 'Serwis' pozwoliły na wykonanie analizy skuteczności rekultywacji. W ramach analizy zbadano skład ziarnowy próbek, wyznaczono gęstość właściwą i objętościową, obliczono porowatość oraz straty prażenia, określono zawartość metali ciężkich, odczyn gleby, przewodność elektrolityczną właściwą (jako miarę zasolenia) oraz zawartość siarki całkowitej i węgla, dzięki czemu było możliwe oszacowanie zawartości materii organicznej. Na tej podstawie sformułowano wnioski dotyczące ekstremalnie kwaśnego odczynu gruntów oraz ich zasolenia, co wskazuje na niepełną skuteczność rekultywacji.

The article presents the characteristic of the deposit of pyrite and iron ores in Rudki near Kielce, conditions of its exploitation in 1933-1974 and mining-caused pollution of the region, in particular in the area of the postflotation decantation ponds and repository 'Serwis'. The way of carrying out reclamation of this area in 1970-1973 was described. Taken in 2005 samples of soil from the repository 'Serwis' allowed the analysis of the efficiency of reclamation. In the framework of the analysis the granulation of samples was made, proper density and volume density were determined, as well as the porosity and the loss while roasting, content of heavy metals, pH of soil, proper electrolytic conductivity (as the measure of salinity) and the content of total sulphur and coal, due to which it was possible to estimate the content of organic matter. Based on this the conclusions referring to extremely acid reaction of soils and their salinity were made, indicating an incomplete efficiency of reclamation.
