Geologiczne uwarunkowania eksploatacji złóż kopalin węglanowych we wschodniej części Gór Świętokrzyskich

Abstract

The thesis provides a review of the issues surrounding the documentation and exploitation of deposits of Devonian limestone and dolomites in the eastern part of the Świętokrzyskie Mountains. It provides a comprehensive summary which has been written on the basis of extensive research taken from mines working on different ground levels. Observations and cartographic surveys were carried out in active quarries, where archival material was also studied and analysed. Much attention was paid to the internal structure of the deposits (main tectonic elements, lithology), the abundance of karstic forms, as well as the form and character of the overburden and the hydro-geological conditions for exploitation. Research into the structure of the said deposits (especially in the overburden and fault areas), was helped by geophysical studies on the deposits. Earlier interpretations of the deposit structures, which were carried out mainly by checking drill sections, were compared to the current research figures. The geological data taken from basic geological documentation concerning the deposits, along with the results of the field research, were deemed to be sufficient for comprising the documentation materials, the cogency of data and research interpretation and a reinterpretation of an internal structure model. The thesis presents many geological issues that have arisen from the research, such as the conditions for deposit exploitation, an indicator for the improvement of methodology for deposit exploration, a look at the geological structure of the researched area, as well as a proposition for the evaluation of certain deposits.

Praca stanowi przegląd problemów dokumentowania i zagospodarowania złóż dewońskich wapieni i dolomitów we wschodniej części Gór Świętokrzyskich. Podsumowuje i uzupełnia doświadczenia z rozpoznania eksploatacyjnego złóż zagospodarowanych, rozciętych wielopoziomowymi wyrobiskami eksploatacyjnymi. Przeprowadzono obserwacje i prace kartograficzne w czynnych wyrobiskach odkrywkowych, zebrano i przeanalizowano archiwalne materiały dokumentacyjne. Zwrócono uwagę na budowę wewnętrzną (główne elementy tektoniki, litologię), występowanie form krasowych, wykształcenie i charakter nadkładu oraz warunki hydrogeologiczne eksploatacji. Na złożach, na których wykonano badania geofizyczne, wykazano użyteczność tych badań dla śledzenia budowy omawianych złóż (szczególnie dla wydzielenia utworów nadkładowych i stref uskokowych). Sformułowano zasady racjonalnego ich stosowania. Wcześniejsze interpretacje budowy serii złożowej -wykonane głównie na podstawie rozpoznania wiertniczego -porównano z obecnym stanem poznania. Dane geologiczne zaczerpnięte z podstawowych dokumentacji geologicznych złóż oraz wyniki prac terenowych posłużyły do oceny wystarczalności materiałów dokumentacyjnych, trafności interpretacji wyników badań oraz reinterpretacji modeli budowy wewnętrznej. Przeprowadzone badania pozwalają na ocenę znaczenia różnych czynników geologicznych w kształtowaniu warunków eksploatacji, wskazanie kierunków doskonalenia metodyki rozpoznawania złóż, zwrócenie uwagi na nowe dane dotyczące budowy geologicznej rozpatrywanego obszaru, przedstawienie propozycji waloryzacji złóż.
