Abstract

Among the presently used hermetic ballooning methods applied for cutting off the gas flow in a pipeline for making repairs, the ballooning method is most popular. It lies in introducing balloons through special stub pipes welded to the gas pipeline, which is an undesired ingerention in the structure of the existing gas pipeline. New ballooning technology lies in introducing balloons to the gas pipeline through the existing exhalation columns. With this method the welding operation can be avoided as it is an undesired ingerention in the structure of the existing gas pipeline.

W dotychczas stosowanych metodach balonowania hermetycznego zamykania przepływu gazu w gazociągu, w celu wykonania napraw, stosowane jest metoda balonowania. Polega ona na wprowadzaniu do wnętrza gazociągu balonów przez dodatkowe króćce, które są wspawane do gazociągu, co jest niewskazaną ingerencją w strukturę istniejącego gazociągu. Nowa technologia balonowania odbywa się przy wprowadzaniu balonów do wnętrza gazociągów poprzez istniejące kolumny wydmuchowe. Metoda pozwala uniknąć robót spawalniczych, które są niepożądaną ingerencją w strukturę materiału istniejącego gazociągu
