After 2017, some changes to the tax law aimed at tightening the regulations on an unprecedented scale were introduced. The research conducted showed that since 2018 there has been a decrease in tax efficiency measured with effective tax rate (ETR) and current effective tax rate (CETR). On average, in 2018-2019, the efficiency measured with CETR dropped by 17.7%, the median by 14.8% compared to the previous years. In 2018 and 2019, the value of the CETR was the highest in the entire analyzed period, i.e. from 2012 to 2019. At the same time, the propensity of companies to create deferred tax assets is declining, and the effective tax rate is also growing. The changes mainly concern companies with average tax efficiency, large entities forming capital groups, and companies implementing capital investments. The article presents a discussion on the observed trends and formulates directions for further research.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Multiobjective optimiaztion of microstructure parameters in a thermoelastic porous material by means of differential evolution and elements of game theory(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2022) Długosz, Adam; Schlieter, TomaszThe paper is devoted to the optimization of the microstructure parameters of a porous medium under thermo-mechanical loading. Four different criteria related to the properties of the porous material have been proposed and numerically implemented. To solve a multiobjective problem, a novel method based on the coupling of differential evolution and elements of game theory is used. The proposed algorithm features an appropriate balance between exploration and exploitation of objective space, which is necessary for the successful optimization of these types of tasks with the use of numerical simulations. The model of the thermo-elastic porous material is composed of two-scale direct analysis based on a numerical homogenization. Direct thermoelastic analysis with representative volume element (RVE) and finite element method (FEM) is performed. Numerical example of the optimization illustrating the usefulness of the proposed method is included.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , On some inverse problem for bi-parabolic equation with observed data in Lp spaces(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2022) Nguyẽ̂n, Huy Tuá̂nThe bi-parabolic equation has many practical significance in the field of heat transfer. The objective of the paper is to provide a regularized problem for bi-parabolic equation when the observed data are obtained in $L^{p}$. We are interested in looking at three types of inverse problems. Regularization results in the $L^{2}$ space appears in many related papers, but the survey results are rare in $L^{p}$, $p \neq 2$. The first problem related to the inverse source problem when the source function has split form. For this problem, we introduce the error between the Fourier regularized solution and the exact solution in $L^{p}$ spaces. For the inverse initial problem for both linear and nonlinear cases, we applied the Fourier series truncation method. Under the terminal input data observed in $L^{p}$, we obtain the approximated solution also in the space $L^{p}$. Under some reasonable smoothness assumptions of the exact solution, the error between the the regularized solution and the exact solution are derived in the space $L^{p}$. This paper seems to generalize to previous results for bi-parabolic equation on this direction.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , The evolution of the market value definition(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2022) Kucharska-Stasiak, EwaThe purpose of the study is the following: (1) indicate the economic sources of the definition of value, including the market value of real estate, (2) present the definition and interpretation of this category, (3) its evolution and the difficult path towards its acceptance in Polish conditions, and (4) identify the reasons for this category being frequently misunderstood in the professional environment. The composite has high cleaning characteristics and the ability to foam in the presence of highly mineralized waters (up to 250 g/l), oil products and mineral acids. It also forms both straight and reverse mobile water-oil emulsions, which is important for cleaning oil layers. Based on the results of testing the »Emir« composite in production conditions on gas and oil wells, it was concluded that the use of »Emir« allows the discharge of hydrocarbon fluids to increase from 20% to 50% or more. The »Emir« composite can also be used on »low-flow« wells which have been clogged or eliminated for geological and technical reasons, this makes it possible to significantly increase the recoverable reserves of hydrocarbons in various oil and gas-bearing regions, especially taking into account the small volumes of drilling and the low success rate of searching for new oil and gas fields.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Nowoczesne środki transportu dołowego – efekty techniczne i ekonomiczne oraz korzyści dla środowiska pracy wynikające z eksploatacji podwieszonych ciągników akumulatorowych typu VOLTER(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2022) Budniok, Tomasz; Krakowczyk, Bernard; Tor, Andrzej; Zasadni, Wojciech; Żyrek, LeszekŚrodki transportu z napędem akumulatorowym znajdują coraz większe zastosowanie w górnictwie podziemnym. CityGML comes with five levels of detail (LoD), mainly constructed from point cloud measurements and images of several systems, resulting in a variety of accuracies and detailed models. The LoDs, also known as pre-defined multi-scale models, require large storage-memory-graphic consumption compared to single scale models. Furthermore, these multi-scales have redundancy in geometries, attributes, are costly in terms of time and workload in updating tasks, and are difficult to view in a single viewer. It is essential for data owners to engage with a suitable multi-scale spatial management solution in minimizes the drawbacks of the current implementation. The proper construction, control and management of multi-scale models are needed to encourage and expedite data sharing among data owners, agencies, stakeholders and public users for efficient information retrieval and analyses. This paper discusses the construction of the CityGML model with different LoDs using several datasets. A scale unique ID is introduced to connect all respective LoDs for cross-LoD information queries within a single viewer. The paper also highlights the benefits of intermediate outputs and limitations of the proposed solution, as well as suggestions for the future.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Forced oscillation and asymptotic behavior of solutions of linear differential equations of second order(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2022) Shoukaku, YutakaThe paper deals with the second order nonhomogeneous linear differential equation $(p(t) y'(t))' + q(t) y(t) = f(t),$ which is oscillatory under the assumption that $p(t)$ and $q(t)$ are positive, continuously differentiable and monotone functions on $[0,\infty)$. Throughout this paper we shall use pairs of quadratic forms, which obtained by different methods than Kusano and Yoshida. This form will lead to a property of qualitative behavior, including amplitudes and slopes, of oscillatory solutions of the above equation. In addition, we will discuss the existence of three types (moderately bounded, small, large) of oscillatory solutions, which are based on results due to Kusano and Yoshida.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Monitoring of water bodies and non-vegetated areas in Selenica ‑ Albania with Sar and optical images(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2022) Belba, Pietro; Kuçaj, Spartak; Thanas, JorgaqThe availability of Sentinel satellites for providing open data with optical and SAR imagery leads to better opportunities related to Earth surface mapping and monitoring. Recently, optical fusion with radar data has shown improvement in classification quality and the accuracy of information acquired. In this setting, the main objective of this research is to monitor the environmental impact of an open-pit mine on water, vegetation, and non-vegetation areas by exploring the single and combined use of Sentinel-1 and Sentinel-2 data. The data utilized in this paper were collected from the European Space Agency Copernicus program. After selecting the Selenica region, we explored the products in the Sentinel Application Platform. According to our data, Sentinel-2 misses the small water ponds but successfully identifies the river and open-pit areas. It mistakenly identifies urban structures and cloud areas as non-vegetated and does not identify non-vegetated areas which correspond to mining operation areas. Sentinel-1 identifies very small water ponds and delivers additional information in the cloudy areas, but misses a part of the river. Alongside the strong contribution in identifying the vegetation, it also roughly identifies the non-vegetation areas of mining operations.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Growth of solutions of a class of linear fractional differential equations with polynomial coefficients(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2022) Hamouda, Saada; Mahmoudi, SofianeThis paper is devoted to the study of the growth of solutions of certain class of linear fractional differential equations with polynomial coefficients involving the Caputo fractional derivatives by using the generalized Wiman-Valiron theorem in the fractional calculus.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Assessment of the impact of 3D printed water-lubricated cutless bearings material on vibration parameters(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2022) Blaut, JędrzejThe main purpose of the research was to determine the possibilities and experimentally verify the benefits of using thermoplastic materials in a cutless plain bearing. The tested bearings were subjected to equal loads and rotational speeds, using water as the lubricant. Analysis showed that they achieved the best vibration damping at lower speeds, between 600 and 1100 RPM. Comparative studies of bearings made of different materials, such as available on the market bearings made of rubber, bearings printed with a 3D printer from PETG, PLA, ABS or Tribo filament materials, revealed differences in their vibration damping ability and operational stability. Conclusions from the study suggest that higher vibration acceleration may increase the radius of the trajectory, which may affect the function and performance of the bearings. The importance of the operational stability of water-lubricated plain bearings cannot be assessed solely on the basis of the RMS of vibration acceleration or trajectory radius. Both of these parameters are crucial from the user’s point of view, especially in the context of various applications such as electric boats.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Using GIS and SDSS tools in the design of a photovoltaic System for a built-up roof(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2022) Davibìda, Lìdìâ Ìvanìvna; Wyczałek, Ireneusz; Plichta, ArturThe design and installation of solar panels on the roofs of urban buildings often require consideration of the specific spatial conditions that affect their efficiency. The primary purpose of this work is to develop a procedure for designing and optimizing photovoltaic installations using geomatics methods and specific tools of GIS and CAD systems. The roof of the historic building A2, which is a part of the Poznań University of Technology campus, was selected as the tested object. Solar radiation modelling and determination of suitability zones were performed using SEBE (Solar Energy on Building Envelopes) in QGIS. Possible options for the placement of photovoltaic modules on the roof were simulated with CAD technique in the web-based HelioScope software. The results of the simulation show that the current roof area can generate electrical power of 99.9 MWh/year. The proposed methodology is universal for photovoltaic installations on built-up roofs and can be applied to other buildings and, consequently, the results obtained can be used to improve the content of the solar data urban geoportal.Item type:Interactive Resource, Access status: Metadata only , Geologia. Biblioteka GłównaItem type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Mineralogical characteristics of the heterolithic formations from the Carpathian Foredeep Miocene sediments, south-eastern Poland(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2022) Przelaskowska, Anna; Zagórska, Urszula; Urbaniec, Andrzej; Łykowska, Grażyna; Klaja, Jolanta; Grela, Jacek; Kędracka, KatarzynaHeterolithic complexes from the Carpathian Foredeep are a subject of growing attention as many natural gas accumulations of industrial importance have been discovered in such formations during the last decades. The aim of the presented work was to determine lithotypes of different lithology and mineralogical composition in the heterolithic sequences. Individual lithotypes were distinguished of macroscopic observations of cores, X-ray diffraction analysis (XRD) and X-ray fluorescence method (XRF). Preliminary distinction between the lithotypes was based on macroscopic observations of the core samples. Correlation plots between the contents of particular minerals (XRD analyses) and corresponding elements (XRF analyses) were used for verification of the lithotypes distinguished based on macroscopic observations. Swelling properties of the investigated rocks were determined using the cation exchange capacity (CEC) values. The following lithotypes were identified: medium- to fine-grained sandstones, fine- to very fine-grained sandstones, clayey sandstones, sand-dominated heteroliths, heteroliths with approx. equal proportions of sandstones and mudstones, mud-dominated heteroliths, mudstones, clayey shales. Such division provides a basis for precise petrophysical characterization of the analyzed profiles, that is assignment of particular petrophysical parameters values to individual lithotypes. More reliable petrophysical parameters in the geophysical interpretation of heterolithic sequences allow for a more precise determination of zones characterized by good reservoir parameters.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Social media in the future: under the sign of unicorn…(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2022) Jarecka, Urszula; Fortuna, PawełIn this essay case studies pointing to problems related to the use of AI in shaping the virtual world are discussed. AI algorithms helps to shape and control the conventional web behaviour and speech of today’s media users, mostly teenagers and adults. Considering the development of software, social media may constitute a separate virtual world in the future. AI also shapes the image of this world and human relationships. The essay begins with an analysis of the future of social media against the background of truth, later, case studies show problems caused by AI to media users and the community. The authors attempt to answer questions such as: What kind of attitudes and abilities will be shaped in social media? What network ethics does AI dictate? What kind of attitudes and thinking will be promoted in the social media of the future?
