Regulacja procesu spalania z wykorzystaniem SSN oraz algorytmów ewolucyjnych

The paper presents simulation of applying evolutionary algorithms and neural networks in power boiler process regulation. The various methods of selection, niche mechanism and coupling methods are presented in the paper. The results show that implementing proper selection operator and niche mechanism allow to prevent premature convergence and reduce computation time.

New concept of ECT/ERT/GRT tomography for multiphase flow measurements

The multiphase flow measurements are very important tasks in many areas of industrial processes applications. One of them is undersea exploration of oil in the petroleum industry. The submitted paper presents application of multi modality: capacitance, impedance and gamma ray tomography for performing measurements of a flow composed of sea water, oil and gas flow, theoretical principles applied to design multimodality tomograph and results of experiments performed in University of Bergen. The experiments were done using ECRT tomograph designed and built in Technical University of Lodz and combined measurements of signals acquired from all measuring modalities. Measurement confirmed that multi modality approach allows to give fast and reliable on-line results of measurements of composition of multi phase flow. Applied algorithm allowed to speed up on-line measurements and presented results in a form required in industrial applications. The derived conclusions can be used as a guidelines for preparation of industrial applicable construction of tomograph.

Trust region based parametric optimisation for nonlinear systems

In this paper, we propose the possibility of solution of parametric optimisation problem with a trust region algorithm. Problem of parameter optimisation is reformulated into initial condition optimisation resulting in analytical formulas for gradients and hessian which are then subsequently used in the trust region algorithm. An example of nonlinear series DC motor controller optimisation is presented along with some numerical results.

Hand tracking algorithm for augmented reality systems

Augmented Reality (AR) technology can be applied to wide range of application domains. Particularly education is an area where this technology could be especially valuable. The work presented here is part of the larger project of building vision-based Augmented Reality system dedicated to educational presentations. The main contribution of this paper is robust hand tracking algorithm which utilizes color and motion information.

Analysis of industrial PROFINET in the task of controlling a dynamic system

W pracy analizowano zachowanie się przemysłowej sieci PROFINET pod kątem determinizmu czasowego przy przesyłaniu sterowań i pomiarów w czasie rzeczywistym. Przedmiotem zainteresowania jest wydajność sieciowego systemu sterowania. Zostało opisane użyte środowisko testowe. Zamieszono analizę odchyłek czasowych (jitter) w cyklicznej wymianie danych. Przedstawione zostały wyniki eksperymentów obrazujące zalety wykorzystania standardu PROFINET.

Środowisko programowo-sprzętowe do akwizycji, przetwarzania i wizualizacji złożonych sygnałów w oparciu o układy FPGA nowej generacji

In the present paper digital standards applied for transmission and coding of a visual signal i.e. DVI, HDMI, IEEE1394, USB, Camera Link has been indicated. An increasing of image resolution and frame rate has been discussed for HDTV and DVI-based computer displays. An increase of the computing power necessary for performing image processing in HD vision systems has been noticed. A choosing of computing environment, which can assure necessary computing power, has been considered. Architecture of a system for acquisition, processing and visualization HD images and other complex signals, based on reconfigurable computing platform, cooperating with general-purpose processor has been presented. Particular components being parts of hardware-software stand have been briefly presented.

Partition of real-time application over multicore systems

W artykule przedstawiono model równoległego wykonania aplikacji czasu rzeczywistego w wielordzeniowym systemie komputerowym. Współczesne komputery dostarczają mechanizmów dla równoległego wykonywania programów czasu rzeczywistego. Zaproponowano algorytm do przeprowadzenia podziału aplikacji czasu rzeczywistego na elementy składowe i ich alokacji w środowisku równoległych procesorów wielordzeniowych. Algorytm ten bierze pod uwagę wszystkie ograniczenia związane z wykonywaniem programu czasu rzeczywistego, w tym relację poprzedzania oraz zależności czasowe. Dzięki przedstawionemu rozwiązaniu jest możliwe pełne wykorzystanie mocy obliczeniowej wielordzeniowych procesorów dla wykonania aplikacji czasu rzeczywistego.

Criterions for the stability of the convex combination of polynomials

A robust suboptimal PD servo controller for an oriented PV system

W pracy zaprezentowano syntezę odpornego, optymalnego serworegulatora dla obiektu o niepewnych parametrach. Rozważany system sterowania może być zastosowany przykładowo do sterowania orientowanym ogniwem słonecznym. Funkcja kosztu opisuje zarówno zużycie energii, jak i czas regulacji w układzie. Obiekt regulacji jest opisany transmitancją przedziałową. Zadaniem regulatora jest utrzymanie funkcji kosztu w zadanym zakresie. Jednocześnie układ regulacji powinien być aperiodyczny dla każdej wartości niepewnych parametrów obiektu. Do konstrukcji regulatora wykorzystano podejście geometryczne. Wyniki badań symulacyjnych wskazują, że proponowany regulator spełnia wszystkie postawione wymagania.

Model algebraiczno-logiczny problemu planowania tras dostaw dla m komiwojażerów

In the article a concept of algebraic-logical model for problem of planning delivery routes to multi-branch companies. This problem is a modification of the well-known m-TSP problem. The algebraic-logical model corresponds to a formal representation of a multistage decision process connected with simulation of a discrete process. There are presented: a state of the system, a set of goal states and a set of not-admissible states. For the current state of the system there are introduced some sets of system elements with analogous features, which are useful in defining other components of the system. There are also specified: a notion of the decision, a set of possible decisions and a set of admissible decisions. Components of the transition function are given: a method of identifying a moment of the next process state and a method of determining values of coordinates of the next state.

ITS: Intelligent Transportation Systems - Multi-Criteria Control Problems

Inteligentne Systemy Transportowe oferują znaczne możliwości implementacji zaawansowanych wielokryterialnych systemów sterowania ruchem drogowym. Podstawowe problemy w tym obszarze związane są z odpowiednią elastycznością sterowania w reakcji na szacowany i przewidywany popyt. ITS oferujące usługi, takie jak: znaki zmiennej treści, komunikacja między pojazdami oraz infrastrukturą drogową, a także systemy wyznaczania tras, wpływają na wzorce zachowań użytkowników sieci drogowej, jednak wpływ ten jest trudny do oszacowania. Z kolei dane dotyczące natężeń ruchu są podstawowe dla problemów optymalnego sterowania i koordynacji obszarowej. W pracy przedstawiono propozycję systemu rozpoznawania wzorców zachowań na różnych poziomach Hierarchicznego Zintegrowanego Systemu Transportowego (HITS), które stanowią podstawę działania inteligentnego wielokryterialnego sterowania ruchem. Zalety proponowanej metody zilustrowano rzeczywistymi przykładami.

Applying of security mechanisms to low layers of OSI/ISO network model

This article describes security mechanisms used by Data Link and Network layers in OSI/ISO network model. Most of protocols for these layers were designed with assumption that there are no intruders, that every device in the network should trust to other devices. Some basic level of trust is necessary, but if this level is too high, standard protocols may be abused. Article classifies some vulnerabilities and network threads. This paper is also an attempt to create some basic rules and requirements which should be met by secure network protocols.

Dobór okresu próbkowania dla obiektów liniowych I i II rzędu z jednym zerem transmitancji

In a paper a problem of sample time assign for lst order and 2nd order plants with one zero in transfer function is presented. In systems we deal with, during discretisation the zero of the transfer function can move outside the unit circle. In the paper the analytical conditions for keeping the zero inside the unit circle were formulated. For 2nd order aperiodical plant it was proven, that the zero of the transfer function is kept inside the unit circle for each positive value of the sample time. For lst order plant and 2nd order oscillatory plant without damping exact analytical conditions for keeping the zero inside unit circle were given. For a 2nd order oscillatory plant with damping analytical conditions are also given, but in the more complicated form. Theoretical results are by numerical examples depicted.

Mobilny system zdalnego nadzoru kardiologicznego: aspekty implementacyjno-techniczne

The paper presents a concept and realization of a cardiologic monitoring system, which analyzes in real time the ECG signal from Holter recorder and transmits the results of the analysis to the supervising center. Strips of the original ECG signal are transmitted only in cases when irregular heart action (heart malfunction) is detected. The connection layer used in the prototype is the GSM cellular network, namely the GPRS transmission, sending SMS text messages and - only in emergency cases - direct modem connection CSD. In the paper the implementation and testing results are described for both the client application (software on the patient's end) and the server software (the application responsible for setting-up the connections and transferring the acquired data to the MySQL database and Apache server).

The use of data mining approach to prediction control strategies for industrial processes

This work is intended to give a view on alternative application of data mining techniques. Paper shortly presents business intelligence (BI) solution based on SQL Server 2005 and some data mining tasks and techniques are discussed. The next part of the work focuses on prediction example using Microsoft Decision Trees. The use of discussed techniques for industrial process advisory system is also considered.
