Abstract
Równania różniczkowe cząstkowe (PDE) stanowią podstawowe narzędzie opisu złożonych zjawisk fizycznych i technicznych. W pierwszym przedstawiono rozważane problemy i główne twierdzenia. W drugim omówiono istnienie nietrywialnych rozwiązań dla problemów własnych z operatorem Laplace’a i p- Laplace’a (p > 2), stosując metody wariacyjne. Trzeci rozdział dotyczy problemu Dirichleta z niejednorodnym operatorem i konkurencją między członem osobliwym a superliniową perturbacją. Wykazano istnienie co najmniej dwóch gładkich rozwiązań. Czwarty rozdział poświęcono istnieniu rozwiązań wielogarbkowych dla nieliniowego równania Schrödingera.
Partial differential equations (PDEs) are a fundamental tool in modeling complex real-world phenomena, especially when nonlinear effects are involved. This dissertation presents original results on the qualitative, quantitative, and perturbation analysis of solutions to several classes of quasi-linear PDEs with Dirichlet boundary conditions or normalized solutions. The studied models include Laplace-type equations, (p,2) and (p,q) problems (with two-phase structures), Schrödinger-type equations, and more general systems. The dissertation consists of four chapters. Chapter 1 introduces the considered problems and the main theorems. Chapter 2 focuses on nonlinear eigenvalue problems involving the Laplace and p-Laplace operators (for p > 2), proving the existence of at least two nontrivial weak solutions and the presence of a continuous spectrum in the (p,2) case, using variational methods. Chapter 3 examines a parametric Dirichlet problem with a nonhomogeneous operator, where singular and sign-changing superlinear terms compete. For small parameter values, at least two smooth solutions are shown to exist. Chapter 4 addresses the existence of multi-bump solutions for a nonlinear Schrödinger equation.
