    Automatyczna detekcja elementów asymetrii w dynamicznych mapach CBF perfuzji mózgowej

    This paper presents a new algorithm that enables detection of asymmetry in dynamic CBF perfusion maps. In the first stage of the algorithm detection of symmetry axis of image (between left and right hemisphere) is performed. In the second stage the level of asymmetry in cerebral blood flow is measured by detection of regions with different perfusion in both brain hemispheres. The algorithm was tested on a set of 28 different images showing or not cerebral blood flow anomalies. The paper also describes the method for estimating cerebral blood flow with a non diffusing contrast agent based on the Meier-Zierler convolution model as well as CBF, CBV, MTT and TTP perfusion maps.

    Wpływ prądu odkształconego na parametry nagrzewania indukcyjnego przy zasilaniu różnymi źródłami częstotliwości

    Sources of frequency for induction heating are non-sinusoidal so the current is deformed. Higher harmonics of the current are given for various sources. Their courses traced. The effect of deformed current on the parameters of induction heating has been assessed.

    Urządzenie do oceny uciążliwości migotania światła

    This paper presents the process of designing a device which estimate light flicking. Schematic idea is based on a flicker metter descibed in Polish Standard: PN-EN 60868:2002. It also describes the result of the symulation investigations of the device. In addtion to this, measure results have been presented and discussed.

    Wybrane problemy akwizycji i analizy danych diagnostycznych z badań magnetokardiograficznych

    Magnetocardiography (MCG) is a non-invasive diagnostic method that bases on magnetic field which is generated during cardiac electric activity. This paper concerns basic rules of measurement conduction, meaning of recorded data sets, as well as data formats that are commonly used for visualization. Moreover, system architecture description was extended to focus not only on technical details but also on physical nature of the process. Basics of post-examination analysis process were presented, as well as the list of the most common diagnostic parameters. Detailed description was given on database content that will be used for further research on computer interpretation techniques of such data sets in decision support systems for heart disease diagnostics.

    Algorytm wielu kolonii mrówek dla optymalnego dopasowania w ważonych grafach dwudzielnych

    In this paper algorithm for optimal matching problem in weighted bipartite graph is presented, which is based on multi-type ant colony optimization. Matching problem is modeled as disjoint-paths problem between s-t vertices. Multi-type ants was used in order to find these disjoint paths between s-t vertices which are the solution for optimal matching problem in weighted bipartite graph. The algorithm was compared with Hungarian algorithm and ACO algorithm for optimal matching problem in weighted bipartite graph and results of this comparison was discussed.

    Analiza pomiarowa i ocena warunków pracy baterii kondensatorów w środowisku przemysłowym

    The increasing degree of complexity and modern technical solutions, which have contributed to the growth of production processes, demand ever increasing higher level computers, automatic systems and power electronics. This means that the effects of direct and indirect disturbances in the electrical energy supply to technological devices are causing severe financial consequences. In an age of increasing fossil fuel prices and derived from this, the increasing cost of energy, the static capacitor banks are no longer an acceptable solution for reactive power compensation and power factor correction. The absolute minimum requirements are automatic capacitor banks, automatically changing the value of reactive power, tracing the changes of the condition of compensated receivers. Capacitor banks are the basis of the economical and efficient operation systems. Since currently, many systems have non-linear receivers, due to electromagnetic disturbances there are now new hazards surrounding capacitor banks both internally and externally. This paper reviews and presents the findings of voltage disturbances analysis that has an effect on the operation condition of automatic capacitor banks, installed at industrial plant sub- station, and the consequences on their exploitation and life-time.
