A new approach to acoustic distributed field shaping
(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2009) Figwer, Jarosław
In the paper a new approach to acoustic distributed field shaping is proposed. In the proposed approach the problem of acoustic distributed field shaping is decomposed into a set of the corresponding autonomous acoustic local field adaptive synthesis and generation problems that are coordinated. These acoustic local fields are synthesized and generated using a recursive synthesis and simulation of power spectral density defined multisine random time-series with the multisine transformation that is additionally aided by an active noise control system.
The method of application of SEA in structural design process for reducing structure-borne noise in machinery. Part 1, General procedure
(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2009) Yamazaki, Toru; Kuroda, Katsuhiko
The paper focuses on the finding which parts of machinery should be modified in order to reduce the noise. The countermeasure is decided by being based on the theoretical formulation the statistical energy analysis (SEA). The proposed process is applied to determine the countermeasures to structure-borne noise in a commercial product (A4 laser printer). This study is the first report of a series to develop a process based on the SEA.
The method of application of SEA in structural design process for reducing structure-borne noise in machinery. Part 2, Structural optimization of subsystems
(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2009) Kuroda, Katsuhiko; Kuratani, Fumiyasu|Yamazaki, Toru
This paper presents the formulation of the structural optimization method on the basis of statistical energy analysis. A4 laser beam printer consisting of eight finite elastic steel plates is considered as an example, where the mass is taken as a constraint function. Consequently, taking one CLF as the objective function, an optimization of the thickness of the shell elements is performed showing the efficiency of the structural optimization method.
Control system of the hydraulic cylinders motion synchronization with the controllers designed on the basis of the direct Lapunov's method
(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2009) Grzybek, Dariusz
The following article deals with the subject of control of the hydraulic cylinders motion synchronization. The subject of the paper is the analysis of throttling-controlled motion synchronization system in the range of potential control algorithms. The main aim was to elaboration and research of the control system of n (where n = 2) hydraulic valves with a view to ensuring the highest possible efficiency of cylinders motion synchronization. The elaborated control system enables effective motion synchronization of n hydraulic cylinders with a view to ensuring a system stability. In the suggested control system controllers designed on the basis of the direct Lapunov's method were used. The number of control systems is equal to the number of the synchronized cylinders.
Artificial neural network with radial basis function in model predictive control of chemical reactor
(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2009) Samek, David; Dostal, Peter
This paper describes the application of artificial neural network with radial basis function as a predictor in model predictive control. Radial basis function neural networks are known for their fast training. Thus, this type of artificial neural networks offers promising way how to reduce computational cost during offline predictor training and eventual online adaptation. The features of this type of artificial neural network are presented in simulations in MATLAB/Simulink on the nonlinear system control. The aim of this paper is to suggest one approach how to solve nonlinear prediction problem using artificial neural network respecting computational demands of the predictor.
