The innovation development is influenced by the arising competition between companies and by the limited marked demand. Every possible competition strategy requires an innovation. The time becomes more and more important. The purchaser's requirements rise, the offer choice is difficult for him. Innovations cause positive and negative effects. One can observe the differences between countries in innovation level. Changes are needed in marketing.

Współzależność procedur zarządzania wiedzą i akumulacji kapitału intelektualnego

We presented an interdependency between stock market's investment strategy and short-term decision-making operations and we showed that very similar relation exists between knowledge and intellectual capital management. For value of intellectual capital estimation an effective rate of return (as a function of risk and ROI) based on a modified CML line has been applied. We demonstrated how to increase value of intellectual capital through an application of adequate procedures of knowledge management.

Ekologiczna ocena cyklu inwestycji (LCI) jako system wspomagania decyzji w zarządzaniu środowiskiem w warunkach niepewności

This paper is dealing with the ecological Life Cycle Assessment - a relative new method of environmental impact assessment. In the second chapter is described the International Standards ISO 14 000-ISO 14001. The third chapter concerns the development the LCA methods and its main stages - ISO 14040 (1997), ISO 14041 (1998), ISO 14042 (2000), ISO 14043 (2000) and is given the car life cycle case study. LCI method was used for scenarios for the waste pyrolysis process. Paper uses stochastic modeling based on the IRR and NPV values for investment assessment. The Monte Carlo simulation with the Excel spreadsheet and Crystal Ball software was used to develo scenarios under uncertainty inputs.

This paper discusses some delivery lot sizing techniques used in material requirement planning. In the second part of the paper on a select example the author presents each metod (Least Unit Cost Heuristic, Least Total Cost Heuristic, Silver-Meal Heuristic), directions of use and its efectiveness, in accepted conditions of net needs formations.

Sieci Hopfielda dla problemu komiwojażera

In article is described an idea Hopfield neural network for solving combinatorial optimization problems, specifically for the Traveling Salesman Problem (TSP). It was implemented three algorithms for solving TSP with Hopfield nets. The performance of these algorithms was examined in simulation study. Results of experiments are described in this work. According to these results, the conclusion is that the Hopfield nets are not applicable for solving TSP.

Typically, business processes and activities constituting them have deadline. When activity misses its deadline, special action may be triggered. In this article I try to apply process mining to deadline assignment problem in workflow management systems in middle size company.

Perspektywy rozwoju rynku otwartych funduszy emerytalnych w Polsce do roku 2010

This paper shows a financial potential's development of Open Pension Funds (OFE) market in Poland till year 2010. A simple forecast of contributions' value transferred to OFE was contained first and next a forecast of OFE net assets' dynamics is presented. These dynamics was conditioned on macroeconomics and demographics situation in Poland, which changes serve to showing simple statistical model.

Logistyka zaopatrzenia huty w wybrane surowce
