Druk 3D i mikromodyfikacje stopu Co-Cr-W-Mo. Nowa generacja stomatologii cyfrowej
(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2024) Augustyn-Nadzieja, Joanna; Gut, Wiktoria
The advent of 3D printing technology in the prosthetics sector makes it possible to accurately reproduce a patient’s specific case of missing teeth, without generating material waste. Due to its precision and accuracy, the technique of selective fusion of metal powders DLMS (direct metal laser sintering) is increasingly being used. The research that was carried out within the scope of the presented work consisted in the evaluation of the influence of 3D printing parameter variation and heat treatment on the properties of a dental Co-Cr alloy with tungsten and molybdenum micro-additives. The metallic specimens used in the study were fabricated in the prosthetic laboratory by a dental technician using DMLS technology from Ador’s Co-Cr-W-Mo Adorbond CC metallic powder with a variable 3D printing parameter, i.e. layer printing thicknesses of 20 μm and 30 μm, respectively. The samples were then heat treated (annealed at 1150°C for 1 h). In this study, microstructural analysis using light microscopy (LM) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) was compared and performed along with microanalysis of the chemical composition using energy-dispersive spectroscopy (EDS) for all the tested samples produced with print layer thicknesses of 20 and 30 μm before and after heat treatment.

Analiza mikroklimatu pomieszczenia mieszkalnego
(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2024) Ciupa, Adam
This article presents the essence of ensuring appropriate conditions in living quarters, ventilation and central heating systems in the civil engineering from the period of the Polish People’s Republic (PRL) and the course of research into the microclimate of a living quarter on an actual example. Based on the obtained results, appropriate conclusions concerning the modernization were made. They can be applied to many rooms of this type in Poland. The research showed that in the indicated room, the outdated window and balcony door should be replaced with new ones with automatic air diffusers with a fine filters and a sectional cast iron radiator with a plate one. Central heating installation pipes should be insulated. In addition, it will be necessary to place an air humidifier. What’s more, it is recommended to invest in an air purifier.

The paper describes the concept of Human Centric Lighting (HCL, or Human Centric Lighting), and the application of modular lighting according to this concept as part of a building automation system. The process of designing and prototyping luminaires was discussed, taking into account advanced features that adapt the lighting to the ambient conditions in the room and the current needs of the users. The work demonstrated the potential of moving light sources to precisely illuminate specific areas and the importance of control algorithms to fully realize this potential. A three-layer system architecture (object, local control and supervisory) was presented, allowing parameters to be adjusted according to user preferences and optimizing operation according to criteria such as energy efficiency. The theoretical foundations based on the analysis of scientific articles and the actual technical process of building the lighting module, as well as the results of photometric tests of module prototypes are presented in the paper.

Wybrane sensory w mikroprocesorowym monitorowaniu parametrów środowiskowych powietrza
(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2024) Faber, Jakub; Ziółkowski, Eugeniusz
This article discusses the issue of air quality in the workplace and its impact on employees – their health, well-being, and productivity. It debates commonly encountered environmental parameters affecting air quality, sources of their formation, and the negative effects of exposure to them. Based on popular air pollutants found in the foundry industry, sensors and a microcontroller with satisfactory parameters were selected to construct a prototype microprocessor system for measuring environmental parameters. The system was assembled and appropriate programming actions were taken to finalize the adopted assumptions. Methods for reading parameters were presented, current measurements were conducted, and further possibilities for system modification were considered.

Prędkość rozchodzenia się w rurociągu fali ciśnienia powstałej po uderzeniu hydraulicznym
(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2024) Fąfara, Zbigniew; Matuła, Rafał
The paper presents the results of a study of the propagation speed of the internal pressure increase wave created by the hydraulic hammer caused by a stoppage of the flow of crude oil in a section of the trunk transmission pipeline “Druzhba”. The results of pressure measurements in a section of one line of the 103.5-kilometer-long pipelines, at five measurement points, were analyzed. The preassure was recorded continuously every second. The analysis included nine events occurring in one year, when one of the pump stations was stopped. Practice shows that hydraulic hammers occurring in such a situation in pipeline systems transporting liquid media are the most common cause of their failure. The results of direct measurements of pressure changes inside the analyzed section of the pipeline accompanying the stoppage of the flow of crude oil indicate an up to three-fold increase in the pressure of the transported medium at the entrance of the stopped pump station, which is particularly dangerous and may result in leakage of the “Druzhba” pipeline. It was built 60–70 years ago, so it’s safe operation is now a very important issue.
