Badanie wpływu warunków środowiskowych na parametry pracy wodorowego ogniwa paliwowego PEM

The study presents the results of an analysis of the impact of environmental conditions on the performance parameters of a PEM fuel cell used in the prototype HYDRIVE vehicle. The scope of the research included an evaluation of the system’s performance under additional cooling with compressed air, increased ambient humidity around the fuel cell, and the disconnection of the hydrogen purging valve. The obtained results indicate significant changes in the efficiency of the tested fuel cell, including a 5% decrease compared to previous tests. The study identified the need for hydrogen consumption optimization and the potential for system modernization, which could enhance efficiency and contribute to improved vehicle performance.

Zapomniany fajans wschodu – wytwórnie ceramiki w Lubyczy Królewskiej, Siedliskach i Potyliczu – historia, produkcja i wzornictwo

The paper presents the issue of ceramics created in Lubycza Królewska, Siedliska and Potylicz, three towns located on the current Polish-Ukrainian border. It discusses the history of the establishment and further fate of local manufactories, which operated at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. It shows the variety of decorations resulting from the ethnic and religious diversity in these towns. The combination of the design traditions of the Ruthenian and Jewish populations, who were the majority of the inhabitants of the mentioned areas, led to the creation of motifs that merged elements of folk plant decorations, geometric patterns, and references to the practices of followers of the Jewish faith.

Uwzględnienie paneli fotowoltaicznych w procesie projektowania stalowych hal przemysłowych

This paper presents the structural design process for the load-bearing frame of a steel hall fitted with a photovoltaic system with roof panels. The application of such a technical solution result in the need for certain corrections and additions to the standard design process of a building, not only at the stage of the architectural concept, but also in the field of the structural calculation model, especially the climatic load model, as well as in the domain of the technical-utility functionality of the building. These issues are presented using the example of a steel single-bay single-storey hall.

Ocena możliwości detekcji ubytków leśnych z wykorzystaniem indeksów wegetacyjnych obliczonych na podstawie danych optycznych z satelity Sentinel-2A na przykładzie Borów Tucholskich

The aim of this work is to investigate the possibilities of detecting forest area loss using optical satellite imagery. An algorithm written in Python, operating on a virtual machine provided by CloudFerro, is used to process the data. Access to Copernicus data is provided via the CREODIAS service. Data from the Sentinel-2A satellite at a spatial resolution of 20 m allow for the calculation of vegetation indices, i.e. NDVI, NDRE, NDII, SAVI and EVI2. A forest plot belonging to the Rytel Forest District in the Bory Tucholskie was selected for analysis, where the tree stand was destroyed as a result of a storm in August 2017. The time series of average values of the indices obtained in this way allow for the analysis of changes in the tree stand. Finally, conclusions were drawn and possible limitations of this method were indicated.

Wpływ temperatury kucia na własności mechaniczne wyrobów i zużycie energii podczas odkuwania kotew przemysłowych

This article analyzes the impact of lowering billet heating temperature on the forging process and the mechanical properties of industrial anchors. The motivation for the study was to reduce the energy costs associated with billet heating by decreasing the forging temperature. The research was conducted using simulations in the QForm software, as well as experiments carried out under industrial conditions. The results showed that reducing the billet heating temperature leads to an increase in the initial forging forces. The mechanical properties of anchors forged at lower temperatures were examined, and in most cases, the products met the required quality standards. At the same time, significant energy savings were achieved. The final results suggest the need to find an optimal compromise between product quality and the energy efficiency of the forging process.
